  Called for dinner whilst holidaying in the area. Warm welcome, and very helpful with choices SS wife is cealiac. We both had swordfish special which was excellent and would highly recommend.

  Great stay for a wedding. Good rooms and good value. Really friendly staff and a great breakfast! We had a few issues booking taxis, but apparently this is quite unusual.

  Don't be like us and follow the signs from the main road. Vile snobbish manageress. Avoid. Children most definitely not welcome. Summarising: "this is a local pub for local people". Very strange experience all in all, food was 'ok' but pricey, but can you trust them enough when they prepare it for you to then have to eat it? Expect insults galore from clearly mentally ill manageress, I feel sorry for the staff there, they were excellent. Should have sued for child's injury but tried to make the most of it.
